Founded in 1944, Mesaba Airlines is the longest-flying regional airline in the United States. Known throughout the industry for its commitment to the safety of both passengers and employees, the airline has successfully navigated through evolving times in an exciting industry. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Mesaba operates as a Delta Connection carrier under service agreements with both Delta and Northwest Airlines.

The rapidly-expanding airline serves more than 75 cities in the United States and Canada from Northwest’s three major hubs: Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Memphis as well as Deltas hubs in Atlanta and Salt Lake City. Mesaba operates an advanced fleet of regional jet and jet-prop aircraft, consisting of the 34-passenger Saab SF340, the 50-passenger Bombardier CRJ200 and the 76-passenger Bombardier CRJ900 regional jet aircraft. Mesaba Airlines is headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota, approximately 5 miles east of Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.
